Governing Body

The Syndicate shall be the executive body of the University and shall, subject to the provision of BUET Act and the Statutes, exercise general supervision over the affairs and management of the property of the University.

The Academic Council shall be the academic body of the University and shall, subject to the provisions of BUET Act, the Statutes and the Regulation, have the powers to lay down proper standards of instructions, research, technological development, publication and to examinations and to regulate and promote the academic life of the University and the colleges.
