Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)

The Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) is a four years degree program based on taught courses and laboratory work. A student opting for Bachelor’s degrees has to complete the requisite number of credit hours for course work as laid down in Higher Education Commission regulations for the mentioned degree. A  thesis  based  on  original  research  work  will  have  to  be submitted and defended as per procedure of HEC. The duration of these degrees depends on the performance of the student and on the nature of research problem. The minimum time limit for completion of B.E is four years.

Program Objectives

Graduates would be able to perceive successful professional careers having essential knowledge and engineering skills.

  • PEO-1: Graduates would be able to perceive successful professional careers having essential knowledge and engineering skills.
  • PEO-2: Graduates would be able to shape themselves to serve industry and society using interpersonal and managerial skills.
  • PEO-3: Graduates would have problem solving approach using analytical abilities, interdisciplinary technologies, effective communication skills and team work.
  • PEO-4: Graduates would be able to pursue research and lifelong learning. Including broad social, ethical and environmental issues within which the engineering is practiced.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 60% aggregate marks in HSSC OR equivalent exams
  • Mathematics is prerequisite
