Biomedical Engineering Deparment

Introduction

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Balochistan University of Engineering & Technology Khuzdar was established in 2020. Pakistan Engineering Council has accredited our four-year undergraduate program in Biomedical Engineering, and admission will commence in Fall 2022. The course plan is meticulously designed to meet the growing demand for skilled biomedical engineers in the healthcare sector of the province. We are establishing advanced lab facilities to help students get a gist of major breadth and specialized courses in the biomedical engineering program, including biosensors and bioelectronics, rehabilitation engineering, and biomedical control engineering.

Balochistan University of Engineering & Technology, being the leading engineering university in the province, is the first to introduce this undergraduate program which is well-aligned with the vision of academia-industry linkage. In collaboration with the Health Department of the Government of Balochistan, we aim to provide students with a field experience and a learning opportunity to equip themselves with industrial skills through internships and training

Vision

Our vision is to become a leading biomedical engineering department in the region and beyond through advanced biomedical technologies and research for human well-being

Mission

The graduates of biomedical engineering will be equipped with diverse skills to create enabling technologies and new knowledge for improving human health
