Dr Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Shah received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering (design and Analysis) from INSA Lyon France in 2011 and Masters in Industrial Engineering from INPG UPM Grenoble France in 2006. He has also done Masters in Mechanical Engineering from college of E & ME NUST Pakistan in 2002. He has done his BE in Mechanical Engineering from Balochistan UET Khuzdar in 1997. He holds over 16 years of research and teaching experience in BUETK and France at the level of Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. He also holds extensive experience of administration at the level of warden, Overall laboratories Incharge, Chairman of the department and Dean Faculty of engineering.
Dr. Shah’s area of interest is Mechanical Engineering. He is mainly interested in Numerical Analysis and design, solid Mechanics, contact mechanics, engineering materials and Metallurgy. He has published articles in highly reputed journals of his field, like . Intl. Jnl. of Finite Elements in analysis and design, Intl jl Engg Science, International journal of Engineering science, Proceedings of IMechE Part-B Journal of Engg. Mfg and has also presented his work in international conferences.
