Dr. Abdul Qudoos Baloch is currently serving as Assistant Professor and head of civil engineering department at Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) Khuzdar. He completed his undergraduate studies (B.E in Civil Engineering) from BUET in the year 2012. After completing his undergraduate studies, he worked as Focal Engineer in a project funded by World Bank until 2014. Later on, he was awarded with a scholarship for pursuing higher education under the project HEC Aghaz-e-haqooq Balochistan package. He joined integrated MS-PhD program (Major in Structural Engineering) at Hanyang University South Korea on March 2015. During this period, he worked as Graduate Research Assistant in Concrete Engineering Lab and published his work in high-ranked journals. On June 2019, he successfully defended his PhD dissertation titled, “Performance of wheat straw ash in binary and ternary blended cement systems.
