Winter Semester 2025

With prior approval of competent authority (i.e. Vice Chancellor) a 8-weeks intensive winter semester has been planned to start from 15th December 2025, with the following terms and conditions:

• Winter semester will be offered as an optional semester of 08-09 weeks duration.
• Students will be offered courses to remove deficiencies and can enroll in up to a maximum of 08 credit hours during winter.
• Moreover, a student who has either failed or has been stopped to take the examination due to shortage of class attendance or wishes to improve his/her grade is allowed to register in winter.

• A student will only be allowed to register in 1-2 courses of upto 08 credit hours for remedial work.
• The contact hours per week during the winter Semester will be doubled to ensure that the course is completely taught in a winter session with half of the duration as compared to a regular (Fall/Spring) semester.
• The registration fee is Rs. 5000/- per course.
• The offered course(s) will not be started if the number of enrolled students are less than 10, otherwise the registered students have to pay the equivalent fee.
• Classes may also be scheduled on Saturday, where necessary.
• The HoDs are requested to pay frequent visits to classes and laboratories to ensure quality teaching and learning.
• Course registration form along with fee challans, must be submitted in the office of concerned HoD before 12-12-2025, 12h00. No form/request shall be entertained after due date/time.
